Network Security Architect

Key Role:

Work with clients across a broad range of commercial markets, including financial services, healthcare, energy, consumer products, high-tech, pharmaceuticals, and automotive to implement and achieve their Cybersecurity objectives. Leverage knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents, including focusing specifically on network protection. Advise on an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusion, security and data spillage, and incident response actions. Test, implement, deploy, and operate the infrastructure hardware to manage the organization's Cybersecurity operational services effectively. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed. Represent the firm in a polished manner when engaging clients to build relationship and further enhance Booz Allen's brand in the commercial marketplace.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with network infrastructure switches and routers

  • 2+ years of experience with implementing and configuring IT infrastructure systems, including operating systems, applications, databases, firewalls, and networks

  • 2+ years of experience with network protocols for IPv4 or IPv6

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • 2+ years of experience with network monitoring tools, including Wireshark or Packet Sniffer

  • Knowledge of SDWAN, SDLAN, or Cisco ACI

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working for consulting firms

  • Experience in working with diverse technical aspects of Cybersecurity

  • Experience with information security regulations or regulatory bodies, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, or GLBA

  • Knowledge of information security program frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST

  • Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP/CCIE Certification preferred

  • Citrix NetScaler SDWAN or Talari Certification a plus

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Specific focus on NIST 800-82, NERC-CIP, IEC-62443 Standards would be an added benefit * Experience in PLC, Networking and SCADA design/programming including data extraction and data analysis. * Solid technical skills with various Ethernet protocols including EtherNet/IP, specifically around assessment, design and implementation of complex systems. * Strong communication skills and commercial skills, ability to handle multiple projects / interactions, and ability to interact with various global teams, clients and vendors including those in international regions. * Familiarity with a variety of networking and / or security concepts, practices, and procedures, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance and human exploitation techniques on the manufacturing network. * Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a virtual environment. * Design, implement and support key global customers' converged business and manufacturing/industrial networks and user needs in parallel with their overall business strategies. * Write detailed documentation that could include customer requirements, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations or implementation plans in order to develop or modify manufacturing infrastructure. * Design, recommend, and implement network infrastructure and associated configuration changes. * Design customer secure manufacturing architectures and provide vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to customers.
