Network Optimization Sr Manager
This is a full-time, exempt position.
The role of Network Optimization Manager is responsible for documenting, monitoring, designing, optimizing, and driving the supply chain to reduce costs, increase flexibility, reduce complexity, and support future business growth. This person will have accountability for identifying and delivering value generating initiatives that will require the design and implementation of business specific, and enterprise-wide solutions, that enable and support current and forward-looking/multi-year Global Supply Chain strategy. This person will be responsible for balancing execution processes, costs, infrastructure, capacity utilization, and other integrated supply chain variables. All solutions will be formed based on cross functional collaboration and considerations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Network Design
Understand and document the currently supply chain design, capabilities, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and treats (for the business and/or region assigned)
Determine the optimal flow of products from sources into, and within, the integrated supply chain network and to customers. This is accomplished by developing and/or leveraging tools/models.
Identify strategic, capacity, and near-term opportunities across the current network that will drive cost reductions while enabling growth and value creation.
Develop multi-year pipeline, identify requirements, build models, partner with cross functional teams, develop business cases, prioritize, value creating initiatives.
Lead/Project Manage regional and/or global network optimization simulations/pilots and resulting initiatives.
Conduct/lead business process and network analysis to understand the needs of the business segments and enterprise, translating those needs into clear/model-based recommendations and solutions for stakeholders.
Support the deployment and execution of Lean/Continuous Improvement program and all related methodologies to enhance efficiencies across the supply chain (S&OP, planning, procurement, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, etc.).
Own and execute, weekly and monthly Network Optimization meetings.
Partner with S&OP, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Optimization Modeling & Infrastructure, Transportation/Logistics, S&OP, and Business teams to execute various forward-thinking projects.
Communication
Ability to translate business needs into modeling questions, analyze, develop scenarios, and communicate outcomes, and recommendations.
Lead/influence business leaders to Implement recommendations/Execution
Clearly communicates complex principles, ideas, and concepts. Skillfully uses verbal and written communication to build stakeholder confidence, interpret results of modeling, and convert into actionable financial and business cases.
Application/Change Management
Work with respective programs, sites, categories, and integrated plans for execution, required investments, operating strategies, etc. Outcomes need to be translatable into existing supply network planning processes as well as specific Global Supply Chain initiatives
Determine optimum asset utilization across multiple sites based on SKU mix, packaging design, formulation design, customer differentiation, and current and future site capabilities.
Identifies strategic opportunities / potential operational improvements for the company. Develops designs and innovative solutions to increase efficiency and resolve network problems. Capable of resolving urgent tactical needs / opportunities in the network.
Coordinates with division management on project implementation and priorities. Responsible for coordinating cross divisionally to align and achieve project objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Preferably MBA, MSc or equivalent.
Must have experience with/in:
Developing programs to enhance efficiencies across the supply chain, including warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, inventory, demand planning, supply planning, transportation, manufacturing, and sourcing solutions;
Supporting and executing lean six sigma, continuous improvement, and project management methodologies;
Leading large and geographically dispersed teams; and
Using the following linear software applications to drive network optimization: Coupa Supply Chain Guru, Coupa Data Guru or Coupa Supply Chain App Studio.
Up to 50% domestic / international travel required.
