The NOC Operator will be responsible for efficiently and thoroughly monitoring Web.com infrastructure to ensure that the IT enterprise is fully available to all customers and internal users.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the enterprise infrastructure.

  • Verify and troubleshoot all Tier-1 type NOC problems.

  • Strictly adhere to all NOC policies and procedures.

  • Review trouble tickets to ensure integrity and accuracy of data recorded.

  • Assist with maintenance of documentation and procedures. Record changes to the infrastructure.

  • Detect and respond to all infrastructure alerts and escalate to the appropriate parties as necessary.

  • Use network management tools to determine the nature of the outage and follow online procedures to resolve the problems.

  • Troubleshoot and isolate failed applications, servers, and network and database connections remotely.

  • Act as a liaison between application and enterprise engineering teams during outages.

  • Answer telephone calls and emails from technology personnel.

  • Manage enterprise Global IT support calls and track and close trouble tickets.

  • Release code to pre-production and production environment using automated scripts.

  • Work closely with the enterprise desktop support team (Global IT) to assist in day-to-day call center issues as needed.

  • Live the Values, particularly Teamwork in situations which require overtime coverage and various shift rotations; Customer Focus in problem-solving to troubleshoot issues affecting internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of network operations experience in a TCP/IP internetworking environment.

  • Experience with Network Management tools and remote diagnostic tools preferred.

  • UNIX Operating Systems knowledge.

  • UNIX Shell Scripting experience.

  • PHP, Perl, ANT or other languages and asset.

  • Windows Server / NT Operating Systems experience.

  • TCP/IP, LAN/WAN experience.

  • Routers, Firewalls and Switches experience.

  • Experience with Internet services: DNS, E-mail, HTTP, FTP, etc.

  • Any programming experience would be a plus.

  • Exchange/ Active Directory experience a plus.

Will implement Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to all scheduler training and development, and usage of scheduling practices and systems. The ideal candidate will oversee analysis and management of labor costs, labor technology solutions, statistical data analysis and management of departmental staff. Directs the scheduling of clinicians across all business lines. Responsibilities * Responsible for the recruitment, training and development, performance reviews, counseling and/or disciplinary action of the centralized scheduling department * Establish, implement and enforce department policies and procedures * Maintain and improve call center operations by monitoring system performance; identify and resolve problems; preparing and complete action plans; system audits and analyses; manage system and process improvement and quality assurance programs; conducting needs assessments, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analyses; * Work with SVP to assist in establishing scheduling goals and managing provider and site scheduling expectations * Investigate, recommend, and operationalize strategic initiatives and programs to support the scheduling department * Works to integrate newly acquired groups into the scheduling team and standardize practices * Prepare call center performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. * Meet call center financial objectives by compiling data pertaining to estimating requirements; monthly scheduling metrics, annual budgets; scheduling metrics; analyzing variances; increased employee comp; * Monitor and escalate urgent scheduling issues contributing to increased comp and other client and provider dis-satisfiers. * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in call center operations management; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. * Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments * Other duties as assigned Qualifications Other Skills and Abilities * Knowledge of the Healthcare industry a plus * Experience in clinical centralized scheduling environment for multi-specialty programs * Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and team members * Demonstrates a solid understanding of workforce tools * Experience documenting process and workflows Education * Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; Master's Degree preferred * 5 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Akumin Inc.
