Perspecta has a need for a Sr Network Operations Center Technician located in Silver Spring, MD.

Position Overview:

Perspecta is looking for a NOC Technician with 5+ years of experience and excellent proactive troubleshooting skills, to join an established Operation and Support team.

The mission of this group is to provide 24x7x365 operational and administrative support for the client and to manage all incoming and outgoing support requests related to the network and business infrastructure while working with internal and external customers and teams to drive and coordinate issues to resolution within defined SLAs.

Provide support with shift (3 varying shifts) based work, providing 24x7x365 coverage and support at our Silver Spring, MD) and North Bethesda, MD locations.

Monitor systems, applications including high and low level network wide performance monitoring

Investigate, troubleshoot, and triage production and non-production software, applications, services and network issues including DNS, SMTP, LDAP, AD and NIS

Provide and conduct Incident Management methodologies

Fulfill supported business service requests by troubleshooting, understanding configuration changes and log reviews

Act of single point of information exchange between numerous groups

Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Network Operations Center Technician

  • Need to be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

  • Use and understanding of scripts to perform start/stop and new deployments of server sets and database configurations

  • Cisco networking skills required

  • Experience using source control, bug tracking, and ticketing systems in a multi team and multi division environment

  • Tools: SolarWinds, ISX, Putty, Spectrum Intermediate level Windows and network operations skills

  • Basic MS Office and web browser skills

  • Intermediate level Internet knowledge

  • Customer service focus

  • Excellent Communication Verbal and Written communication skills for telephone resolutions and documentation maintenance

  • Must demonstrate assertive problem determination skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and quality assurance skills desired

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Sr. Associate, Promotions Operations Bethesda, MD The Senior Associate, Promotions Operations will be a part of our Promotions team and will be responsible for supporting print, email and in-store promotions through our two (web and in-store) promotional system. Operating stores across the country, the position will assist in building market-specific deals across a variety of marketing vehicles. This candidate will also ensure end to end management of these promotions – ensuring entering, accuracy, cross checking, troubleshooting, communication and responding to questions to our 170+ stores and integral business partners. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, and able to work against multiple deadlines. Additionally, this position requires significant cross departmental coordination, collaboration with the IT and Marketing departments, and communication with store teams. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively and build relationships across all levels of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to directly impact and learn about many aspects of our unique business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Build Point Of Sale promotions for web and in-store offers, into our two system's for Total Wine's 170+ stores oMust be comfortable with data entry and working within a system oTroubleshoot promotions issues that come from stores through TWM Help Desk; this may require occasional evening or weekend support oCollaborate with Promotions Team to ensure accuracy of all TWM Promotions oCross check promotion requirement documents, preprints and emails oWrite communications to stores as needed with updates on promotions * Lead all Hybris and Relate technical and promotional questions. Evaluate current and future needs and partner with IT to ensure items are on the roadmap * Create Monthly Root Cause Analysis reporting on key promotional issues. Include recommended solutions and partner with business to solve or train Team Member's as needed * Manage communication of upcoming promotions, elevate any concerns across new or existing promotions to Executive Leader's * Manage team's promotions to ensure accuracy is achieved during the week, week-nights and weekends. This includes, but is not limited to: oMeeting with the Team weekly on upcoming offer's oManaging the cross-check process end to end oEnsuring proper execution is achieved by all Team Members oEnsuring Weekly Issue Recap is up to date and accurate to be shared out to business stakeholders oBeing support point of contact on nights and weekend issues – as needed * Build and partner with Customer Contact Center to ensure they are aware of Promotions going into the weekend and understand the criteria for our Customers * Create and share out monthly reporting on redemptions for Relate and Hybris JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Experience, Skills and Education: * 4+ years' experience in a corporate retail environment * Bachelor's Degree * Comfortable with data entry and working within a system * Able to work at night or weekend to resolve any issues – as needed * Proficient in Excel * Excellent attention to detail About Total Wine & More Total Wine & More is America's Wine Superstore®—the country's largest independent retailer of fine wine.
