Under the direction of the Manager of Hosted Systems the NOC Operator is responsible for the proactive monitoring of multiple applications and sets of servers and polling of customer data to ensure data integrity and that customer requirements are met, administration of new users and maintenance of existing users within the PAR SaaS offerings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform 24-hour network surveillance and alarm reporting utilizing compute, network and storage monitoring and surveillance software

  • Document and analyze alarms, identify points of failure and see through to resolution any failures working with or escalating to the appropriate department if needed

  • Utilize, manage and maintain network and performance monitoring tools to ensure application reliability (Kaseya, Nagios)

  • Interface daily with our Help Desk technicians and Leads and assist with failed/missing poll reports of customer data.

  • Collect, document, and analyzing customer trouble reports, to isolate and resolve customer facing outages

  • Setup and configure new clients as well as perform change management on existing clients

  • Participate in Internal QA testing of new SAAS releases and Windows Security Patches before deployment to live sites

  • Work with PAR Technicians and PAR management to assist in the resolution of equipment or network level outages

  • Provide and manage internal communication of Major Service Interruption (MSI) outages for all of PAR's network equipment and services

  • Provide and manage internal communication of High Risk (HR) maintenance activity affecting PAR's equipment and services

  • Facilitate escalation to Engineering as required for service specific network or equipment issues

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of all PAR hardware, software products and peripherals

  • Associates degree in Computer Operations or related field with a minimum of 3 years operations experience in the following areas:

  • Windows operating systems

  • PowerShell Scripting

  • General knowledge of SQL queries and update statements

  • General knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008

  • Data Center monitoring tools

The goal of the Operations Coordinator is to support the execution of tradeshows, events and conferences within the operations department, with focus on the quality, efficiency and growth of the products. The Operations Coordinator is Accountable for: Participate in an engaged and empowered team * Support Operations department in managing and executing event workload * Collaborate on long and short-term goals for the group to support company, department and market vision * Participate in structured and unstructured communication to ensure clarity around group goals, identification of opportunities and challenges and tracking against timelines and show requirements * Be an active participant in the Exhibition & Conference industry * Monitor work flow, adjust load as necessary and appropriately resource for scale Coordinate operational expenses and revenues for optimal results * Prepare analysis and participate in review & negotiation on competitive supplier proposals * Support the submission of the annual budget, monthly forecasts and financial information on schedule and as needed * Control show expenses while maintaining the best possible quality and service * Pay applicable suppliers * Follow centralized accounting and department process Work closely with Operations Manager to deliver consistently high performing products and services * Meet defined timelines * Always strive to "under promise and over deliver" * Increase opportunities for revenue and profit growth * Collaborate on development of show policies Operations defined as, but not limited to: * Produce and maintain accuracy of vendor work orders (i.e. staffing, security, f&b, structures, furniture, AV, etc.) * Produce and maintain accuracy of graphics * Provide and proof marketing content for the service kit, exhibitor enews and other related operations content * Train and manage onsite staffing in partnership with Operations Manager * Fulfill onsite operations of events * Coordinate inventory for exhibit hall and meeting space * Obtain and maintain accuracy of floorplans, renderings Specific areas of responsibility: * General Show - i.e. Info booths/centers, publication circulation, guide/map distribution, recycling/compost programs, service areas (registration, offices, baggage check, shuttles, massage etc.), computer kiosks, press room, sales office, environmental initiatives * Exhibit Hall - i.e. Signage, carpet, kitchen clean-up, booth packages (non-profits, barters, partners), feature areas (café, lounges, theaters, etc.), produce floorplan * Meeting Rooms - i.e. Show management rooms, education/conference program, client meeting space (partners, barters, non-profit etc.) * Exhibitor Services - i.e. Variance approvals, floor manager areas/service center * Attendee Services - i.e. shuttles, parking venues, registration areas * Events - Inclusive of co-located tabletops and Tours. i.e. entertainment, décor company, venues General team support defined as, but not limited to: * Maintain overall event schedule * Reconcile financial information * Maintain vendor contact information and contracts * Reconcile exhibit space and meeting room inventory * Traffic exhibitor insurance forms and other required documents * Provide training/support for list pulls for vendors (A2Z) * Support the Operations department with additional projects Additional Responsibilities: * Travel as requested to conferences, clients, vendors, tradeshows, etc. * Provide consistent, timely reporting of projects and meet identified deadlines. * Use identified software and tools for record keeping and event management * Responsible for completing invoices, check requests, paperwork, database updates, etc. within 48 hours. * Responsible for following procedures, timelines & deadlines for projects as indicated. * Participate in applicable meetings.
