What We Need

We're looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Intern who is hungry for experience integrating services and tools and automating workflows that are important to maintaining network health. We're seeking somebody who loves building things, loves figuring things out, and aspires to be a great engineer at Bandwidth into the future. If your idea of fun is losing track of time while geeking out over a new software application, then this is the position for you!

What You'll Do:

You're going to work in Bandwidth's Network Operations Center (NOC) and be a vital participant in your team's design and implementation efforts. You'll collaborate with peers to build, integrate, and/or automate applications to support Bandwidth's network. You'll look critically into the methods and technologies involved with the operation and maintenance of enterprise networks, and you'll originate ideas and activities that advance our craft.

What You'll Need:

  • Working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar technology-related field

  • 0-2 years of experience working with APIs and enterprise applications

  • Strong scripting skills, preferably Python or JavaScript

  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and technical problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated to overcome challenges and identify opportunities for improvement

The team Supply Chain and Network Operations Our Supply Chain and Network Operations team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive weapons. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events. Qualifications * A minimum of 6-8 years consulting and/or industry experience is required, with the Ability to travel up to 100%. * Experience with delivery of e-sourcing/digital procurement related projects from the strategy through implementation phases with a focus on business process review and design. * Experience with leading procurement technology packages and implementations with eProcurement technologies such as Ariba or Coupa. * Experience with full procurement transformation including sourcing,S2P and P2P technologies, organizational change and business process review. * Experience with sourcing and procurement area; including direct and indirect materials, strategy and operational procurement, demand management and vendor/supplier management. * Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects. * Strong oral and written communication and documentation skills, including presentation skills (MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, etc). * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. * Eagerness to mentor junior staff. * A Bachelor's Degree is required, An advanced degree is preferred. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
