We currently have an opening for a Network Manager

The position is designated Statutory Exempt and is exempt from the State Human Resources Act.

The Network Manager is responsible for managing the Network Security Operations team. The team consists of Network Engineers who provide design consultation, configuration and implementation services. This team also provides 24×7×365 operational support to our customers. Additionally, the Network Manager will serve as the service owner for data center network services. These services include routing, switching and load balancing offerings within the DIT data centers.

Duties include, but are not limited, to:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex network problems and improve network performance and reliability

  • Provide technical leadership and direction for network security services initiatives

  •  Participate in customer consulting meetings to gather business requirements and developed detailed designs based on those requirements

  •  Participate in Incident Response activities

  •  Build Relationship both within and outside the team

  •  Provides leadership on joint projects with other internal or external teams

  •  Develop and implement service improvement plans

  • Experience with service lifecycle management and budgeting

  • Experience with network equipment and routing protocols

  • Demonstrated experience to work on multiple projects simultaneously, respond to shifting priorities, and work efficiently under the pressure of critical problems and deadlines

The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:

  • Experience with Cisco firewalls, IPS, Nexus switches and routers

  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and the Panorama management console

  • Experience with F5 LTM and GTM or other loadbalancing technologies

  • Experience with cloud services, AWS and Azure

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressive experience in telecommunications network management, analysis, or design

OR

Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of progressive experience in telecommunications network management, analysis, or design

OR
