Position Summary

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Assist in network design and implementation

  • Provide network support with a variety of network operating systems

  • Install and configure computer network equipment

  • Must have experience in Cisco Routers (ASR and ISR models) and Switches (Catalyst and Nexus)

  • Must have experience in Cisco and Aruba Wireless deployments

  • Troubleshoot Aruba and Cisco wireless issues like WLC Code upgrades, AP join issues, Client association issues, Authentication issues, Guest wireless issues

  • Knowledge and working experience in Cisco ISE 802.1x technology

  • Experience working on Cisco DNAC and SD-Access technology

  • Experience working on Cisco Meraki SD-WAN networking

  • Site to Site VPN connectivity maintenance and troubleshooting VPN (S2S/Remote Access/SSL/DMVPN/GRE) related issues

  • Manage corporate wide network with a mix of MPLS, VPLS, P2P and circuit managements

  • Knowledge on Riverbed WAN Optimizers.

  • Good to have experience in Broadcom/CA Network monitoring tools

  • Must have experience in performing IOS upgrades, L3/L2 VLAN configuration, complete configurations of switch and router from scratch, working with on-site engineer to take console of any network device.

  • Working knowledge about Routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and most of the LAN protocols

  • Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources

  • Added experience with tools like Wireshark, Debugging, EEM, Python, Automation

  • Create technical support documentation for systems and applications

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

  • Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement

  • Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years' experience in network administration role

  • Enterprise network environment exposure and understanding of Datacenter networking along with modern Software Defined Networks

  • Proven network engineering, operations, and performance analysis skills

  • Hands-on advance technical troubleshooting capabilities

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and guide a team to achieve goals

  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability

  • Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues

  • Managing incidents, tickets, change, configuration management, problem management

  • with root cause analysis of the tickets with Level 2 & Level 3 support

  • Performing troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term

  • Testing and configuring software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral

  • Configure and support the network components such as Routers, Switches and Access

  • Points, Wireless controllers

  • Responsible for Network Documentation using Visio Tools, MS-Power Point

  • Configuration and troubleshooting of different kind of Access-lists

  • Cisco IOS security features and basic knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threats and attacks about Implementation, Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Cisco ACS for Authentication, Authorization, and accounting of network equipment.

  • Networking on the AWS, GCP and Azure

  • 5-8 years' experience in network administration role

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure Domain

  • In-depth experience in configuring and managing Datacenter Cisco Nexus Switches

  • (5K,7K, 9k )

  • Advanced knowledge with core network infrastructure technologies and protocols

  • (campus routing & switching, WLAN, 802.1x, STP, EIGRP, BGP)

  • Experience in the development and implementation of network designs according to

  • standards and best practices

  • Ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot wide range of campus network issues, from

  • end-host connectivity to traffic flows across network core

  • Experience operating and maintaining chassis switches, with knowledge of various

  • redundancy technologies (VSS, HSRP, SSO, vPC)

  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of common NMS, configuration management and network monitoring tools

  • Comfortable with the use of various Network Operating Systems (Cisco IOS XE, NX-OS,

  • Aruba/HP)

  • Familiar with emerging network technologies; specifically, Cisco DNAC and SD-WAN,

  • AWS networking (DirectConnect/VPCs/Transit Gateways/VPGs/VPNs)

  • Wireless Networks: Cisco & Aruba APs and Network Controllers, including their

  • authentication integration with Cisco ISE

  • Familiarity with RADIUS, TACACS and AAA methodologies and protocols.

  • Being able to troubleshoot and resolve network outages, network performance issues, or

  • networked application issues.

  • Demonstrable experience in Routing and Switching concept (Cisco / Juniper Platform)

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills

  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
