Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Network Engineer/Cyber Security Lead supporting the Fort Polk, LA (FPLA) Mission Training Complex (MTC). This is a full-time position, contingent upon contract award.
Duties: The Network Engineer/Information Assurance Leader will act as the overall communications architect and alternate Cyber Security Support Officer (IASO) for the MTC with coordination responsibility with outside agencies and MTC branches. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Create/establish communications architecture, coordinate communications plans, configure communications equipment, and implement Cyber Security processes.
Assist in installing equipment and circuitry in support of distributed exercises.
Coordinate all aspects of the communications architecture and exercise support plans with communications planners at other simulation facilities, the FPLA Network Enterprise Center (NEC), and participating tactical units.
Plans include distribution of data, voice, and VTC over both LAN and WAN, in both classified and unclassified modes for simulations/stimulation networks; NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and tactical networks.
Bachelors of Art (BA) or Science (BS) in network management or a related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in network architecture design and implementation.
Skilled in advanced planning, troubleshooting and maintenance of servers, routers, switches, firewall configuration, and configuration/architecture.
Strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies.
Knowledge of specific product lines (for example Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, Tripwire, etc).
Understand the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification & Accreditation process and Information Assurance requirements.
Possess and maintain all applicable and necessary certifications in accordance with governing regulations.
Military service with experience in areas similar to those listed under required qualifications.
Familiarity with military (preferably US Army) training, operations, training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS), and mission command information systems (MCIS).
Security Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
