Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Network Engineers to support the configuration and deployment for LAN/WAN capabilities and hardware refreshes on several government contracts. The Network Engineer positions are located in Norfolk, VA and require an active TS/SCI CLEARANCE.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

• Respond to trouble calls/emails/IM's from end users

• Provide Tier 2 and 3 triage and break fix for network devices and equipment

• Resolve end user issues with Command Line Interface knowledge to restore down devices

• Telco Local Loop and customer in-house wiring

Qualifications of the Network Engineer:

• 6+ years of relatable experience with Network Engineering, system administration, or network administration.

• Active TOP SECRET Clearance (SCI eligibility required)

• both of the following Certifications in ACTIVE status: SEC+ , CCNA

• Ability to work on-call weekend and Holidays in a 24/7 environment

Compensation of the Network Engineer:

• $90,000 - $110,000 Depending on experience
