Searching for a Network Engineer who can implement equipment installation plans based on the Network Administrator's specifications, maintain each component of the network and troubleshoot issues. The Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the network firewall, assessing the functionality of the network routers, ensuring all Internet security software is updated regularly, developing and implementing company email policies in accordance with the IT Manager and maintaining the company phone system.

Design, develop, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
Determine network bandwidth needs and recommend measures to meet those requirements
Conduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated network
Direct system installation
Select and install appropriate data communications components configured to meet the companys needs
Program routers, switches, and other network hardware
Configure DNS servers
Maintain firewall and manage security related to hacking
Define, document, and enforce system standards Manage owned domain names
Design, recommend and implement new solutions to improve the resilience of network operations
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outages
Schedule updates and upgrades
Collaborate with network architects to optimize system performance
Engage in data network fault investigations
Secure network systems with policies that define and monitor access
Report network operation status based on project management and priority information
Additionally - this role will align with Telecom Expense Manager (TEM), control, maintain, and manage 100% of Aramarks operational demand for wireline and voice services.

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 This position will coordinate strategies for defining, deploying, and maintaining Dechert's data architecture and its associated network connections and component hardware. The Network Engineer will manage engineering projects for network initiatives, plan technology roadmaps, and configure and optimize data, video and voice services. Although the primary focus of this position is to implement and support underlying network infrastructure, the candidate will also be tasked with general network support and build-outs including security, routing, switching, wireless services and other network related duties. This position will provide mentoring, training, and support to other staff as needed. Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Design system configurations; direct system installations; define, document, and enforce system standards. * Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshoot network problems and outages; schedule upgrades; perform base-lining and capacity planning; perform network optimization. * Provide reporting on network operational status. * Provide day-to-day support, proactive maintenance, and perform independent complex system troubleshooting. * Monitor communications performance using diagnostic equipment, visual checking, and status indicator methods to locate problems. * Implement network security devices and applications as required in support of internal security initiatives. * Practice network asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. * Define and update departmental network documentation and databases. * Identify capacity and performance issues to ensure uninterrupted service. * Assist in the operational, strategic planning, and business continuity / disaster recovery solutions. * Provide strategic technical direction, roadmap design, installation, and configuration of all data systems/services. * Coordinate project teams for larger network initiatives and periodically take a lead project role. * Manage vendor activities and verify invoices and expenses relating to circuit installation base, services provided and support requirements. * Audit network expenses and recommend expense reduction initiatives. * Write business correspondence for recommendations, project support, and customer service purposes. * Travel on occasions to both domestic and international offices.
