The candidate will work with a massively parallel enterprise platform, built with Java on Free and Open Source Software products including Kubernetes, Hadoop and Accumulo, to enable execution of data-intensive analytics on a managed infrastructure. Proficiencies in the following have been noted as highly desired for this position: • Experience doing Linux administration on large Hadoop and Accumulo based clusters • Possess skills of Linux, Python/Bash, Configuration Management Software (Salt, Puppet or Ansible) and have some experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Requirements:

• Shall have ten (10) years of experience in the planning, design, development, implementation and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline is highly desired but will not count toward the ten (10) years significant experience.
