Job Requirements

Robert Half Technology; The NOC Engineer Level 1 hould be able to meet the following requirements:

Level 1 ? 2+ years of below experience

Saas Environment

Understands and has worked in a NOC environment before

Monitoring production environments

Monitoring application and infrastructure performance with tools like New Relic ? does the monitoring for them but would be great to understand from a dev background so they understand how the application works.

Understands application development programming languages like, .NET, MVC, ASP.NET,, C#, WebAPI, Ruby ? WILL NOT DO ANY CODING

Windows shop ? understanding the fundamentals of VMware, Networking, CPUs, understand the terminology for all of that

Understand ServiceNow and experience working with it

Understand SQL Server and SQL databases


Incident Management

  • Question to ask candidates: Have you ever had to work with an incident response team? What was that incident?

Change Management

  • Question to ask candidates: What practices have you had to work with change management? What processes have you used before?

More questions to ask candidates:

  • Have you ever worked for a Sass Company before

  • What is your background in monitoring? What's your comfort level?

  • How do you describe yourself? (looking for answers like: Problem Solver, good management of time, multi-tasker, analytical, team oriented, good communicator, etc)

Nice to Haves:

Powershell scripting ? they have a training class they can provide after converting


Someone coming from a start up background. MINDBODY is an Enterprise level company but they operate like a Start Up.

This is a contract to full-time position with benefits, Level 1 must be open to a $52k to $62k a year salary; no sponsor ship offered.

VIEW JOBS 12/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-13T00:00 Job Description The Environmental Business Line of Arcadis is seeking an ambitious, hardworking, dependable Environmental Engineer to join our world-class firm in San Luis Obispo, CA. This full-time, entry-level position within our Remediation group will be involved in various activities in support of diverse environmental assessment and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and will be capable of working as a productive member of a high-performance team. This position requires both field and office work; the successful candidate should expect to be out in the field up to 75% of the time. Availability for extended project assignments of 2-3 weeks in duration is required. Field work may be performed at project sites with environmental media (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, etc.) that has been impacted with hazardous substances and/or hazardous wastes. Duties will include but are not limited to: * A combination of field and office related tasks that will likely require travel * Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders * Installation of soil borings and monitoring wells * Field sampling of groundwater, soil, and other environmental media * Field data collection, analysis, and interpretation * Preparation of visual, graphical, and tabular summaries of environmental data and trends * Technical report writing * Preparing cost estimates and proposals * Coordinating work schedules with subcontractors * Overseeing subcontractors * Conducting project-related research (historical data, regulations, etc. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological or Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline * Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Power Point * Technical writing skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience in environmental remediation and engineering * Remedial engineering design experience * Experience in technical report writing and preparation * 40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred * Previous industry, consulting, or regulatory internship experience Employment Type Regular Arcadis San Luis Obispo CA
