Summary:
As a Network Engineer at Pacific Seafood, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the network and network related devices to ensure that data and Voice communications work properly and efficiently. Primarily supporting a network comprised of a main, DR data centers and 40 remote sites connecting over MPLS and site to site VPNs , you will manage a fast-paced environment using leading-edge technology to achieve a high end enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Detailed focus on network security with an in-depth expertise on the subject.
Design, implement and maintain robust and scalable network solutions for the data center and remote site networks.
Design, implement and maintain disaster recover procedures as they apply to the network and network devices.
Work with Windows servers as applies to networking and security.
Support the Cisco VPN infrastructure.
Support the Cisco, and Juniper core, and DELL access switches.
Create and maintain network documentation.
Monitor system performance and recommend changes.
Maintain backups and spares of network devices.
Restore system to normal operation after network related failures.
Routing protocols - including OSPF, BGP, eBGP, EIGRP.
LAN Switching
WAN failover technologies.
TCP/IP protocol suite.
F5 BigIP Load Balancers.
Application protocols
Client VPN - IPSEC, SSLVPN.
ShoreTel VoIP support
Perform traffic analysis and optimization.
Experience troubleshooting using Wireshark, Netflow, and Syslog,
Ability to be cross-trained to assist in supporting VMware and Windows servers.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry certifications.
Minimum three years of previous experience as a Network Engineer.
Specialized experience with WAN support over VPN tunnels for multiple sites and knowledge of the design and maintenance of firewall rules.
Experience providing advanced technical support as well as guidance for further technical evaluation.
Implementation and advanced training.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Valid Driver's License

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually
