Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer to join our team in the DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performs system-level design and configuration of network systems, including determination of hardware, operating system, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing customer networks

• Plans large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and trade and cost studies

• Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation

• Troubleshoots unique or complex problems and takes direction from more senior personnel

• Collaborate and work with other Network Engineer IIs

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field

• Two or more (2+) years of related experience

• Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order:

• CCNA-Security

• CySA+

• GICSP

• GSEC

• Security+ CE

• CND

• SSCP

• If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required

• If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant industry standard certifications such as Comptia Network+, Cisco/Juniper, or AWS Advanced Networking

Clearance Requirements:

• This role requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
