Responsibilities:

Assists in the development and maintenance of all Enterprise network systems. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN and Wireless (Wi-Fi) systems to help install on internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Familiar with a variety of network infrastructure concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records. Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery. Should have working experience with configuring the routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers. Associate will be part of On-Call rotation and will include off hour work.

Education/Experience:

  • At least three to five years of experience with Network switching, routing and firewalls.

  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.

  • CCNA preferred.

  • Occasionally have to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50lbs.

  • Frequently have to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Occasionally have to work near moving or mechanical parts.

Prioritize team workload to ensure that sales orders are processed and installed in a timely and accurate manner. Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two or more other full-time employees or their equivalent. Core Responsibilities: * Performs staffing, hiring, and training tasks including workforce planning, team building, orientation, providing direct training, and providing resources for training. * Participate in operational construction order status calls. * Ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer orders/reports. * Can publish regular status reports regarding order level activity when required. * Evaluates workforce planning and workload prioritization and adjusts as needed to meet key performance metrics. * Oversee team priorities and checks work performance on regular intervals. * Holds regular team meetings and individual one-on-ones to ensure employees are appropriately informed in order to create a quality customer experience. * Coaches, develops and evaluates employees in compliance with Comcast requirements for employee performance management and provides feedback to the team. * Identifies and implements best practices ensuring continuous process efficiency improvement. * Performs departmental needs analysis and produces strategic, cost-effective solutions. * Utilizes knowledge of Comcast Business products and systems to provide expert knowledge to staff. * Partners and collaborates with various levels of sales, operations, engineering, vendor partners, and other functional groups to improve the customer experience, to ensure order flows appropriately and accurately and operational goals are met. * Resolves issues affecting construction intervals, site survey discrepancies, day of install failures, etc. Escalates issues requiring higher level review and/or action to senior leadership, as necessary * Develop excellent relationships with internal and external partners and manage the expectations to ensure each assigned task is executed on time and in line with organizational goals. * Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. * Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
