Role Summary:

Implement new networks and supporting existing platforms with standardized configurations. Plan, design, and develop local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.

Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Provide LAN/WAN maintenance and evaluate existing network systems.

Perform LAN/WAN monitoring, analyze, test, and troubleshoot internet systems. Monitor network performance, internet connectivity and troubleshoot problem areas as needed. Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, firewall, and peripheral devices.

Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics, documentation, diagrams, and reports. Report service disruption and participate in managing all network security solutions. Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery. Conduct Remote access maintenance

  • Cisco VPN and RSA Secure ID and remote site management

  • Cisco routers, Cisco, and HP switches. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.

    Participate in managing all network security solutions. Perform server and security audits and system backups and recovery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience in core routing and switching design principles; network capacity planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and analysis software; planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) in retail/theatre industry; installing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing network hardware, software, communication links, and remote access; implementing network security solutions; firewall administration cloud and on premise; MPLS and DMVPN routing between branches; process standardization between the organization; wireless networks design and administration; Data Center Virtualization; and Network lifecycle management.
