Working hours
Our Network Engineers typically work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time unless specified. On occasion you may be asked to work outside of business hours.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (afterhours and weekends)
Location requirements
This position is open to Denver, CO requiring up to 20% local travel to our datacenters and client sites

Who you are
Proactive and independent technical expert who performs a variety of network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support responsibilities, requiring a thorough working knowledge of networking technologies. You are a skilled communicator on all levels and dedicated to providing top-notch customer service. Your meticulous attention to detail is shown through your timekeeping, documentation, and execution of the technical work.
You know how to:
Maintain/break-fix as well as execute networking projects including network architecture and design
Develop detailed functional specifications, design documents, and test plans
Monitor network performance and integrity
Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as sales, service, and field staff as well as external clients to define deliverables, performance, and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve support issues with cloud and local infrastructure
Serve as a consulting resource to technical and business partners for client-hosted installations and implementations
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and billable/utilization hours
Troubleshooting will require skills in some or all of the following technologies:
Network technology including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless configuration
Routers used for internal routing, ISP connectivity, and MPLS deployment
Firewall vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and SonicWall
Wireless solutions
Unified communications; Mitel/ShoreTel systems, a plus hardware and software
BGP + EIGRP + STP
iSCSI + SAN knowledge
GRE tunnels
QinQ VLAN configurations
Device and networking hardening 802.1x
Cisco products
Syslog + TACACS
Windows Server
Office 365
Multisite/stretched datacenter environments
MSP applications like ConnectWise, LabTech, and IT Glue desirable

Pay and Benefits
This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely with some travel.
Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $90,000 - $100,000.00 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company's discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role. Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)
