Job Summary Work with a Team of Network Engineers planning and implementing projects to support VoIP, Critical Applications, and a Network reliability of 99.99%.. Act as the SME working with a project team to implement deliverables and work on the next generation of Cloud Services. Perform network related operational support, administration, compliance and configuration, and contribute to and drive Policy setting and implementation.

Work directly with vendors, end users and other suppliers to analyze, design, recommend and implement new networking technologies. Provide problem determination and solutions, with guidance, utilizing various networking tools or network equipment. Define and discern key aspects of system administration that have significant technical and business impact.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to: Implement redundancy throughout our network, eliminating any single points of failure. Plan, design, and implement local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP). Plan and implement cloud connectivity using best practices and secure methods.

Participate in ongoing network design reviews in search of improved user experience performance and cost reductions. Ensure risk-free implementation of all business and technology solutions. Documentation of network designs and standards.

Product selection, pilot and implementation of network solutions which meet customer and future business requirements. Responsible for the supervision of vendors through projects. Working with project leaders, ensuring that all solutions and changes are cost effective and are within overall functional strategies and objectives.

Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with the customer and third party suppliers Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement. Create Documentation for PCI compliance and resolve any vulnerabilities. Participate in an on-call Rotation Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Expert level configuring and managing Routers, Switches and Firewalls Prefer Cisco and Palo Alto experience.

Expert level using and configuring BGP, OSPF, SNMP, Syslog, SSH In depth knowledge of industry protocols including IPSec, VLANs and Spanning tree. In depth knowledge, implementation of QOS/COS traffic shaping/bandwidth throttling. In depth knowledge of packet capture and analysis.

Understanding of Cloud technologies and configuration.

Prefer Google Cloud experience. Understanding of Wireless Implementation and configuration.

Prefer Cisco wireless controllers and access point experience. Understanding of RADIUS, TACACS+. Prefer Cisco ISE experience. Practical experience in the management of of Medium size Data Center Networks.

Perfer Cisco ACI experience Experience using network-troubleshooting tools. Prefer Cisco Prime, NetBrain experience Familiar with the principles related to secure network design following PCI best practices. Strong oral and written English communication skills.

Ability to interface with senior management and business partners. Excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal and time management skills. Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification Bachelor's degree in related field or 10+ years equivalent experience. Cisco, Palo Alto Certifications a plus

Even better if you have: * Advanced degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. * PMP certification. * Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations knowledge, especially with Local and Long-Haul Telecommunications networks. * Experience with SRM/SAP as well as expense and/or capital budgets. * Excellent verbal and written skills for inter-organizational communications. * Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion. * Experience making independent decisions based on policies, practices and project requirements. * Technical or project management experience. * Knowledge of PC and software applications including Windows and MS Office.
