A Network Development Specialist job in Pasadena, CA is now accepting applications. This is a 6 month contract position with our key Aerospace client. To be considered, you will have a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology strongly preferred, along with 2 to 5 years of experience in IT/Network/Security design administration and deployment. In this role, you will be involved with presale activities and project teams to design and deploy the IT infrastructure for solutions delivered to customers. You will also have to select and manage the appropriate network, system and tools infrastructure for the P&SD internal service.

Network Development Specialist Job

Qualifications:
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology highly preferred

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in IT/Network/Security design administration and deployment

  • Experience with Material and Operating Systems, HP and IBM

  • Experience with networking and protocols, knowledge of security (cryptography, Smart Card and Middleware, Public Key Infrastructure, and Authentication protocols), experience with system administration (multi-domain management, high availability, disaster recovery, backup strategy, update services)

  • Experience with back-office software (Oracle, MS-SQL, Apache, MS-IIS, ISA Server), and experience with administration, configuration and tuning of application servers (IBM Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss/wildfly, Tomcat)

  • Travel up to 20% of the time for short or medium durations
