Are you passionate about aiding customers in crossing the boundaries of edge network security to the cloud and helping sales teams navigate security questions? We need you to join us as a Network Connectivity Specialist for Jira Align!

The Network Connectivity Specialist will engage teams customers, support, sales and services to connect Jira Align with Jira. Security constraints include addressing pathways through customer firewalls, gateways, network appliances and other security infrastructure, solving deployment challenges and surmounting security constraints. Additionally, the person in this role will be providing assistance to prospects, educating and delivering information and conveying how our cloud infrastructure and configuration will satisfy their security requirements.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 5-10 years of experience with enterprise customers with a proven background in AWS, Windows, Azure and Internet Security

  • Prior experience with network access control (NAC) systems, firewalls, gateways, routers, intrusion prevention systems, information security methodologies and authentication protocols

  • Technical depth in solving edge networks, and platform configuration using SAML, OpenID connect, and mutual certificate TLS

  • Prior experience in the configuration of group based security tools such as LDAP, Active Directory, Okta or Centricity

  • Related cloud certification(s)

  • Understanding of modern software development tool chain and related cloud certification

  • Comfortability with ambiguity and a proven track record delivering results without much oversight

It would be great, but not required, to have:

  • Strong knowledge of one or more Atlassian server and datacenter products

  • Knowledge of high-level SLAs for infrastructure operations. (e.g. Monitoring, incident management)

  • First-hand knowledge and understanding of solution partner business models and professional services

  • Critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize the nice to haves from the must haves

  • Ability to communicate and work well with all levels within an organization from the CXO to the Jira administration

  • Knowledge of standards and regulations impacting Cloud security solutions like HIPAA/HITRUST, SOC, FISMA, FedRAMP, and PCI and have familiarity with international data protection (EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, GDPR, etc.).
