If you have been a Manager in Revenue Cycle with experience healthcare billing and receivables management for at least 5 years with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing and building a team, this is a great opportunity for you to consider. Under the general direction of the SVP and Director of Revenue Cycle Management, this position provides daily operations leadership, guidance, and support for all Inception Fertility clinic's charge capture and billing routines. This requires multi-site and multi-State oversight. This role will provide direct oversight and management of the Inception Family team members assigned to charge capture and billing routines which consists of employee/family members both in the clinic locations and centralized in the Corporate RCM Department. The Network Manager is responsible for supervising day-to-day pre and post service activities associated with the proper coding, charge entry, and billing of all clinic encounters for both self-pay fertility service packages and insurance patient populations. This includes validation of correct and timely coding and charge entry for proper revenue capture and reimbursement.This role ensures duties are completed accurately and timely while acting as a team player for optimum office flow and excellent patient account care. This position is expected to demonstrate professional behavior, display appropriate conduct and show consideration, respect and patience towards all patients, families, staff and professional affiliates. The Network Manager of clinic Billing follows all federal, state and payer specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation and billing practices to ensure all work is following established guidelines.Essential Responsibilities: * Ensures all CPT, HCPC and billing charges are captured in an appropriate manner. This includes proper self-pay fertility package assignment of charges based upon identified milestones noted in each package. * Ensures proper CPT & HCPC code assignments that includes unique related CPT code designations for Fertility Benefit Managers. Ensures all CPT codes have proper and applicable modifiers attached while ensuring proper place of service code assignment. * Ensures best practices are developed, implemented, and monitored for identification, analyses, and reconciliation of billing errors. * Updates and maintains EMR and/or other systems based on documentation provided by physician/clinic for creation of medical claim and/or posting of self-pay charges to patient accounts. Prepares electronic claim files for submission. * Compares transaction reports with daily schedules to ensure timely billing of all services provided each month. * Ensures appropriateness of charges based upon services rendered and works in conjunction with clinic leadership, RCM leadership, and coding team to ensure such accuracy. * Ensures each clinic location has protocols and procedures to ensure daily charge capture reconciliation with clinic schedule and all encounters created. * Ensures charge capture team members proper reviews patient records, dictated reports, and physician/provider notes for proper charge capture assignment. * Works with clinic leadership in all markets to maintain consistency in practice across the network. * Collaborates with RCM counterparts and clinic/corporate leadership to ensure all appropriate and compliant charge capture maximization. * Ensures each clinic has a protocol and mechanism to validate and confirm all charge capture has been appropriately finalized for each month-end financial close routines. Ensures charges in "saved", "not claimed/billed" and "open" statuses within the EMR platform have been reviewed and rectified by each month-end close timeline. * Recruits, hires, trains, and evaluates performance employees in assigned area of responsibility. * Mentor and develop team in their current role through daily leadership, coaching sessions providing constructive feedback, and continuing education of workflows, payer updates, departmental expectations, and regular staff meetings. * Implements, enforces, and maintains established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including the development of controls and review mechanisms to ensure that systems and procedures are effective and being diligently followed. * Ensures that all electronic claim submission and charge entry routines are addressed by working with venders and/or information system(s). * Conduct quarterly auditing of coding and charge entry activities to ensure that adequate controls are in place to maintain departmental compliance with administrative/legal requirements of applicable government regulations. * Compiles departmental activity reports and keeps Senior Management advised of issues and concerns that impact the department. * Provides resolution and follow up of complex billing and charge capture issues and assistance with special projects as needed.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Acting with integrity and making decisions that foster mutual respect, honesty, and transparency. * Collaborative decision making rooted in fostering positive relationships and teamwork across Family members, physicians, teams and departments. * Safety/compliance acts in a safe manner, understands the importance of operating with and maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations and adopted best practices continually looks at process failures as opportunities for improvement. * Leads by example, demonstrates compassion with patients and their family, Family members, vendors, etc. encourages empathy and grace in others. * Providing a best-in-class patient and employee experience is at the heart of all interactions and decisions with patients, family, and employees. * Advances and supports an environment of process improvement and innovation. * Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Inception's leadership philosophy, policies and applicable laws.Education and/or Experience:*
