Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Influence the strategic direction of our network product development

  • Discuss network opportunities with key customers and translate into engineering requirements and architecture

  • Contribute learnings to the larger community via written guidance and presentations

  • Mentorship and development of team technical delivery personnel

  • Contribute to the broader Cray R&D leadership community

Requirements Background and

Skills:
  • A sound track-record of shipping products in multiple delivery environments including SaaS and integrated hardware

  • Passion to drive the next-generation network of High Performance Computing

  • Experience driving and guiding software development of network software

  • Demonstrating thought leadership in network management in a full CI/CD pipeline

  • Demonstrating profound experience in Agile methodologies, both in practice and in coaching/mentoring/teaching others

  • Hands-on experience supporting a live, mission-critical (24x7x365) platform as part of a DevOps organization

  • Providing expertise and leadership in network in the cloud space

  • Providing expertise and leadership in security in the cloud space

  • Experience in architecting systems comprising multiple data streaming and storage platforms (SQL, NoSql, Kafka, )

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field; MS preferred

  • Comfortable talking about technical things with business people and business things with technical people. Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences

  • Experience in automating large-scale deployments with modern tools (Ansible, etc.)

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organization

Working in collaboration with executive leaders and management team, the Senior Business Development Specialist leads efforts to develop and implement a variety of strategies and tactics designed to improve market share throughout the Swedish Health Network. In keeping with the strategic and marketing plan, the Business Development Specialist Senior develops and communicates an understanding of regional competitors and services and works with service groups to refine and update program development priorities in response. The Business Development Specialist Senior develops working relationships with physicians and assists in facilitating contact with community referral sources through a variety of mechanisms including personal visits, educational lectures, meetings and additional outreach opportunities both clinical and community based. Personally establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with referral sources, and serves as an information resource and contact point for referring physicians with SMC, SMG and Providence; this includes troubleshooting issues and working with the clinic directors to ensure patient issues are resolved. Advises on the development of informational packets and service guides to support referrals and professional access to SMC services, including consultation and advice on web based referral information. Works with Corporate Communications to develop and implement marketing campaigns, public relations and web-based initiatives. Works closely with patient education to develop education materials, which align with the strategic plan and goals of the assigned network and/or service area.
