Works with the Williams Telecom Team to architect network solutions for field sites
Serves as a technical resource to other team members
Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network
Installs, supports and/or maintains local (LAN) and/or wide area networks (WAN)
Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations
Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission
Tests and analyzes network communications, routers, and switches
Must be a fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to solve problems and offer solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
Must be a strong team player who can build partnerships with others.
Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent experience.
8 to 10 years of technical proficiency and experience in network design & implementation of Cisco routers/switches/Wi-Fi, Wireless (Radios, Microwave, Satellite), and WAN/LAN.
Strong problem-solving skills required.
Oil and Gas or pipeline business acumen required.
Strong interpersonal skills and good relationship building, and leadership skills required.
A Cisco CCNP or equivalent is required.
A solid working knowledge of industrial ethernet and BGP preferred.
Strong formal and impromptu communications skills including customer advocacy preferred.
