PeopleTec, a 100% employee owned company, is currently seeking a Network Analyst /Systems Integrator to support the Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) in Washington, DC.
3-10 years of military data link / operations experience.
Monitors the network and provides high level expertise with regard to network troubleshooting using tools such as network traffic analyzers and monitors with issues such as those related to unicast/multicasting routing, GRE tunneling, Protocol Independent Multicast and Rendezvous Points, OSPF, time servers, radio communications, network delay/latency, and IP ports and protocols.
Provide technical support to an Integrated Air Defense Operations Center. Operate, monitor, and control the physical data link and transport layers of installed communications and computer systems.
Provide technical support in connection with tactical and operational level air and missile defense communications systems.
Plans, designs, and implements the full range of joint, secure, tactical protocols using Link 16, Link 11B, Link 11A, FAAD Data Link (FDL), Remote Radar Data Link (RRDL), United States Message Text Format (USMTF), and other tactical protocols.
Configure and manipulate C2 systems such as Joint Range Extension (JRE), Multi-Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT), Composite Tracker Correlator (CTC), Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and Forward Area Air Defense/Engagement Operations (FAAD/EO) and the Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI).
Establishes the IA/STIG-compliant network router/switching/cabling infrastructure with associated firmware loads/configuration, switchport assignments, access control lists and firewall rules.
Assist in maintaining IA/RMF requirements.
Maintains tactical data link services extended over satellite communications systems (SATCOM), as well as point to point IP based services.
Coordinates equipment maintenance, tracks licensing agreements, warranty services, and prepares a wide variety of reports.
Provide physical and data integration with Battle Management Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems.
Provide command and control joint interoperability design definition to ensure both data and voice communications are supported by all services.
Ability to lead the integration effort for both tactical and commercial radar data links to include the Airport Surveillance Radar and Sentinel Radar into a seamless Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP).
Working knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux Operating System.
Duty hours may require shift work to include weekends.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Position may require a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
A completed Bachelor's Degree in related field and 3-10 years of military data link / operations experience.
Military experience is highly desired. May be substituted for degree requirements.
