What you will be doing:

As a Network Analyst Senior, you will provide and maintain network connectivity services for FIS networks.

  • Performs device configurations, internal operating system upgrades and software upgrades and deploys network devices including routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls.

  • Follows documented network services processes and procedures - identifies gaps in processes or documentation and suggests improvements.

  • Monitors, responds and provides resolution for all network problem and incident tickets.

  • Utilizing case management system (CMS), documents status updates and problem resolutions.

  • Performs customer service duties and responds to customer requests as defined by management.

  • Responds to customer requests as defined by management completing assignments in a timely manner with an acceptable level of quality.

  • Troubleshoots network problems and recommends corrective procedures; assists with troubleshooting circuit equipment and all other network issues.

  • Prepares activity reports as requested by management.

  • Identifies opportunities to improve workflow and creates supporting documentation for review by peers and management.

  • Maintains network services documentation related to work area.

  • Completes network change requests in accordance with service level agreements.

  • Maintains network lab and equipment inventory

What you bring:

  • 7+ years of experience performing hands on network services infrastructure engineering, diagnosing and correcting network problems and network equipment installation and configuration.

  • Experience with:

  • VeloCloud SDWAN

  • Juniper firewalls, switches and routers

  • Cisco routers and firewalls including user and business-to-business VPN connections

  • Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control

  • Aruba and/or Cisco WAN

  • Ansible Network Automation

  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner

  • Knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture

  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, 802.11, QoS, VPN)

  • Ability to understand and apply technical concepts

  • Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Flexibility, versatility, dependability

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-02-11T00:00 Network Systems Support Specialist Summary: To provide the Tolleson Union High School District with support in all areas of computer and information systems functions with an emphasis on network functionality; assist the Network Systems Administrator with various functions, including serving as the primary source of support to the school technology technicians Essential Functions: * Assist the Network Systems Administrator in the installation, troubleshooting and management of district data communications. * Assist the Network Systems Administrator in managing systems and servers related to the district LAN and WAN (e.g. directory services, email systems, user accounts, print queues, workstation ID, IP assignments, computer labs and classroom PCs, etc.) for ensuring availability of services to authorized users. * Assist the Network Systems Administrator with installing computer equipment, network (client and server) software and hardware on a variety of platforms (e.g. service packs, application software, operating system software, hardware upgrades, etc.) for the purpose of upgrading and maintaining equipment and software. * Assist the Network Systems Administrator with maintaining network operations, computer hardware, and/or software applications (e.g. file and print, application, WEB, database, and proxy servers, operating systems, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring efficient operations at district sites. * Assist the Network Systems Administrator with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining district operating systems and networks for ensuring availability of technology resources to authorized users. * Analyze and maintain all cloud-based security appliances for the district, including Cisco security suites. * Maintain and monitor content filter for all students and employees. * Troubleshoot office 365 synchronization issues. * Provide hardware and software support, including software and hardware upgrades. * Provide reports and/or logs of all maintenance and repairs performed. * Performs and completes other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: * Ability to maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with students, parents, and other staff of the District. * Ability to communicate effectively through both written and oral communication. * Minimum one (1) year of professional experience working with Cisco call management and Unity communications systems. * Minimum three (3) years of professional experience working with Cisco switches * Minimum five (5) years of professional experience with microcomputer hardware and software support in a network environment. Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, Windows server including installation, setup, hardware/software troubleshooting and network administration responsibilities. Experience with computer imaging and software deployment. * High school graduate plus technical training and experience to demonstrate skills, knowledge, and ability required. * A+ Certification preferred. * Certification to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and upgrades of district computer equipment. * Ability to work with multiple priorities and tasks.
