Functions as a test and deployment agent for application and network changes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
  • Provide network administration and server support to all global locations. Duties include but are not limited to: * Monitor and process requests submitted through support queues in Cherwell ITSM. * Perform Active Directory account management tasks related to provisioning, security, credential management, etc. * Process account management requests for supplier portals. * Manage the Windows printing environment. * Use Commvault and related technologies to back up and restore files. * Create/delete DHCP reservations and DNS entries. * Inventory control. * Provide administrative support to other Network Services team members to enable completion of their projects. Activities may include:*
  • Laptop conversions. * Assisting with computer and printer moves.*
  • * Test and evaluate new software and hardware. * Manage assigned additional special projects as required. * Develop process and procedure standards and documentation. * Install, patch, and maintain servers running the Windows operating system. * Document and communicate system enhancements or changes utilizing formal change management system. * Assist with deployments, ongoing management and retrieval of Company owned mobile devices. * Analyze and respond to output from server monitoring systems. * Support and manage Desktop and Loftware printing. * Participate in rotating 7x24x365 support schedule for the Server Operations and Domain Administration team.*
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Strong knowledge of the Windows server operating system. * Ability to work autonomously, but also able to execute extremely well as a key member of a larger, complex, global team. * Ability to facilitate team-oriented projects and manage assigned tasks. * Results-oriented, value-chain driven individual who is mature, competent, conscientious, self-motivated and self-directed. * Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.*

    VIEW JOBS 5/13/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-08-11T00:00 Basic Function Responsible for the overall support, control, and maintenance of Racine County's technical Infrastructure, including but not limited to network, servers (on-premises/virtual), LAN/WAN, VPN, MFA, storage devices, wireless infrastructure, data, and voice communication environments. Essential Duties * Be the primary technical contact for all servers, storage devices, wireless infrastructure, data, and voice communication environments used and supported by the Racine County Information Technology Department. * Analyze, recommend, and oversee the implementation of hardware, operating systems, and application software installations, and upgrades for the network and servers. * Develop standard operating procedures regarding the use, access, and maintenance of the servers and network environments. Also maintain and update technical infrastructure documentation as needed. * Build and maintain internal and external website servers owned by Racine County. This effort includes the management of the technical aspects of the Internet and Intranet systems and sites. * Administer the server and network environments to include planning, scheduling, and implementation of system maintenance and upgrades. * Provide procurement recommendations of technical Infrastructure hardware and software. * Provide technical support to end users of the systems. * Coordinate and supervise activities of contract support vendors. * Coordinate, enhance, and execute IT Disaster Recovery operations. * Uphold the County policy guidelines for technology. Develop and recommend new and improved hardware and software guidelines to ensure compatibility and better service to end users. * Support Critical Public Safety Systems, including: 911/Dispatch, Law Enforcement, First Responders, and Municipal Governments. * Participate in a rotating one-week 24x7 on-call structure and monthly after-hours maintenance window. Supervision Received Receives supervision from the Information Technology Infrastructure Manager. Qualifications * Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field and three years of experience; OR seven (7) years of experience in the information technology field; OR any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities. * Hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, etc. * Strong knowledge of network management, network monitoring, and network analysis tools * Experience working in switched, routed, firewalled, and wireless environments. * Hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting experience * Working technical knowledge of current NAC, network hardware, including routers, switches, bridges, and firewalls * Prompt and regular attendance. * Applicant must have vehicle and proof of insurance. Knowledge Skills & Abilities * Ability to work in an environment with multiple and changing priorities. * Ability to demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, and achieve results through others. * Ability to initiate and execute projects in accordance to project management methodology. * Experience in Windows Operating Systems (Desktop and Server), and Microsoft Office (all releases). * Experience using Microsoft Active Directory to administer user accounts, groups, distribution lists, and other AD resources. * Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds. * Ability to stand, walk, and move about for up to 100% of a shift. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
