Network Administrator (Onsite - Orlando)

Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract to Hire position with a client based in Sanford, FL.

Pay Range: $35.00/hr - $38.00/hr - This position is 100% Onsite

Network Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Plans, designs, and installs multi-user computer systems, servers, networks, and associated hardware/software.

• Manages key resources to ensure availability of properly functioning services including but not limited to monitoring utilization and tuning the use of networks and network devices and ensures the proper operation of and access to print services, file services, communication services, electronic mail services, cluster servers and other systems required for efficient operations.

• Develops and implements network administration, security and data integrity applications.

• Establishes and implements backup and emergency recovery procedures as necessary.

• Monitors network functions for potential problems with servers, and other equipment.

• Maintains network documentation, diagrams, and schematics as required to support operations.

• Provides technical support to Client Specialists as required including troubleshooting complex problems involving various systems or networks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Supplemented by four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in a networking environment or an equivalent combination of training and experience

• Must possess and maintain a Florida Driver's License

• 3+ years experience with Cisco and / or HP network environments. Experience in both is highly preferred

• 3+ years with network monitoring tools

• SolarWinds Orion, native vendor tools, etc

• 3+ years experience in patching and applying firmware updates

• Experience working with vendors on new installations and upgrades

• Aruba Wireless

• Logs, controllers etc.

• Experience sizing and scoping end of life network environments for newer solutions

• Experience in generating network capacity reports, trend analysis, etc.

• Must have experience with HP Aruba, Palo Alto firewalls and SolarWinds
