Provides implementation planning, oversight, support, and related services for INTRUST Bank data network. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all he or she does in the community, and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST's character qualities.
Deliver high level network infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting, support and sustainability of both local and wide-area designs
Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
Maximize network by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating on network optimization
Assist in design and testing of network infrastructure and related systems.
Build and improve automation tools to streamline day-to-day operations.
Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects
Continuous improvement of new and existing processes and solutions.
Provide connectivity troubleshooting and support in response to Tier 1 service requests.
Uses knowledge and judgment to address unexpected failure of hardware, software, or communication lines.
Works independently to perform tasks with a high level of accountability.
Works with all employees, software, hardware, telecommunication vendors, and occasionally external customers.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 or more years' experience related to network design and support, or CCNA or higher certification with 5 or more years' experience in related network design and support.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Strong technical experience in LAN/WAN network design and deployment. Cisco Networking software, routers, and switches required, some knowledge of IP Telephony is preferred. Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and Cisco Wireless.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: CCNA or equivalent route/switch training required
Physical Demands: Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Some bending and kneeling when installing computers and cabling.
Working Conditions: Normal office environment
