Network Administrator

Job description

Infosys is seeking a Network Administrator with Cisco Routing and Switching and Palo Alto and F5 Load Balancer experience. This candidate will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Overland Park, Kansas or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in Network Skills for L2/L3 operations (worked on CISCO, HP Routers & Switches/Palo Alto/ASA Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer).

• Experience and knowledge of best practices around management, control and monitoring of Network infrastructure.

• Help team to Create RCA.

• Creation of network documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in the following platforms: Variants of ISR routers, vEdge, cEdge, vManage, and Catalyst family.

• Knowledge and experience in Protocols: VRRP and TCP

• Certified in Cisco technologies.

• Good knowledge in Linux, Virtualization, VPN, or Security technologies.

• Understanding of Cloud technologies such as AWS, AZURE

• Basic Understanding of IPSec, TLS, and DTLS.

• Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).

• Understanding of X.509 Certificates usage workflow.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
