Network Administrator

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Network Administrator with CISCO Routing & Switching and WLAN . This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Detroit, MI or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At Least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience as Network administrator with Cisco Routing & Switching and WLAN, Experience in Datacenter network.
• Ability to design, architect and implement network solutions in Data center and remote sites.
• Ability to conduct periodic network audits and periodic reviews to assess policy adherence.
• Ability to mentor Network operations team to troubleshoot existing networks, identifying and correcting technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Good Communication and Analytical skills.
• Cisco certified Network Professional (CCNP R&S or CCNP Data Center) or higher
• Ability to provide ON call support as required on a rotating basis• Ability to mitigate vulnerabilities and participate in disaster recovery planning and simulation exercises.
• Recommend process improvements to existing operational support models
• Experience with ITSM processes.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
