Overview

Responsible for the ongoing management of automated systems customer connections and general network infrastructure, information security policies, procedures, and technical systems in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all organizational information systems and data.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Cisco ASA

  • Configure and maintain IPSEC L2L VPN, Remote VPN, and SSL VPN

  • Assist project management with onboarding connections to new customer projects

  • Demonstrated proficiency with NAT, Policy NAT, Identity NAT

  • Configure and maintain Cisco ISE, proficiency in authentication and identity management

  • Understanding of voice and videoconferencing systems and related technologies.

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain VOIP architecture including Call Manager/Call Manager Express, Call Center Express, and Unity

  • Manage and maintain server/SAN infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain Cisco Nexus, catalyst, and access switches and routers

  • Assist configure and maintain Cisco unified wireless environment

  • Strong background in wired and wireless Ethernet networking technologies (including VLANs, Dot1x, Spanning Tree, Port Channeling, 802.11abgn, etc.) and network security concepts

  • Manage and monitor network with NMS Cisco Prime and/or Solar Winds

  • Maintain network documentation, IP Schema, Naming Convention and standards, VLAN creation, Access control lists and Access control entries

  • Manage services such as FTP(S), DNS, SNMP, RDP, HTTP

  • Perform code upgrades to network gear as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • As needed to support Corporate IT operations

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Computer Science preferred and/or relevant work with internetworking, CCNA routing/switching and CCNA Security; CCNP preferred.

  • 4-6 years industry experience

  • Any basic scripting language experience (Python,Pearl) is added advantage

  • Any Network automation / service management experience is added advantage

What you'll do on a typical day: * Identify and document all network hardware and software using a variety of sources; monitor and respond quickly to any performance and/or security issues on the network * Set up, configure, and support internal and/or external networks; develop and maintain all system, application, security, and network configurations * Participate in upgrading, patching, and installing new and existing applications and equipment * Provide customer friendly technical support and guidance to users; respond with a sense of urgency * Develop and mature network processes required to support and scale the company's IT service functions; enhance business continuity plans, disaster recovery services, and data centers * Design and engineer network systems in support of new systems, services, and scalability * Responsible for internal and external DNS management What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll need: * 6 years of experience in design, architecture, and implementation; designing, architecting, and managing connectivity in a multi-site environment * Experience with DNS management * Expert in routing and core switching using all common routing protocols; design and implementation of LAN/WAN; firewall implementation and management; understanding and interpreting system and network performance and analytical data * Expert knowledge of different Load Balancer technologies * Ability to support and execute projects in a distributed matrix environment * Proven track record of improving network stability, uptime, optimization, and security It'd be great if you also have: * CCNA, CCNP, and CCDA certifications * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to multitask and manage customer expectations * Possesses a strong work ethic, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail * Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources, and develop, recommend, and implement solutions Be part of something big.
