Overview

Responsible for the ongoing management of automated systems customer connections and general network infrastructure, information security policies, procedures, and technical systems in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all organizational information systems and data.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Cisco ASA

  • Configure and maintain IPSEC L2L VPN, Remote VPN, and SSL VPN

  • Assist project management with onboarding connections to new customer projects

  • Demonstrated proficiency with NAT, Policy NAT, Identity NAT

  • Configure and maintain Cisco ISE, proficiency in authentication and identity management

  • Understanding of voice and videoconferencing systems and related technologies.

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain VOIP architecture including Call Manager/Call Manager Express, Call Center Express, and Unity

  • Manage and maintain server/SAN infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain Cisco Nexus, catalyst, and access switches and routers

  • Assist configure and maintain Cisco unified wireless environment

  • Strong background in wired and wireless Ethernet networking technologies (including VLANs, Dot1x, Spanning Tree, Port Channeling, 802.11abgn, etc.) and network security concepts

  • Manage and monitor network with NMS Cisco Prime and/or Solar Winds

  • Maintain network documentation, IP Schema, Naming Convention and standards, VLAN creation, Access control lists and Access control entries

  • Manage services such as FTP(S), DNS, SNMP, RDP, HTTP

  • Perform code upgrades to network gear as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • As needed to support Corporate IT operations

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Computer Science preferred and/or relevant work with internetworking, CCNA routing/switching and CCNA Security; CCNP preferred.

  • 4-6 years industry experience

  • Any basic scripting language experience (Python,Pearl) is added advantage

  • Any Network automation / service management experience is added advantage

Job Summary The Systems Support Administrator (Network) is responsible for the ongoing configuration and support of the organization's network infrastructure that powers the wired, wireless, and VoIP needs of the main campus and extension sites. They are charged with configuring, and maintaining enterprise level networks to support data communications. The Systems Support Administrator (Network) works as a member of the Infrastructure Services team and is charged to understand the goals/objectives of that team and how it supports those of the STGI&O division. QUALIFICATIONS: 2-5 years of progressive experience with: * Enterprise wired networks * Enterprise wireless networking * LAN administration * Firewall configuration and management Cisco wireless management preferred. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Cisco or equivalent network certification (CCENT; CompTIA Network +) preferred. Interpersonal Skills: * Oral and written communication skills * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to communicate, socialize and coordinate technical matters effectively throughout the organization * Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision * Team oriented with a positive, can-do attitude * Critical, solutions-oriented thinker * Advanced organizational skills * Ability to challenge and develop other engineers Network Management/Support * Configure and manage campus LAN network infrastructure to achieve target uptime and reliability of 99.99%. * Configure and manage campus wireless network infrastructure to achieve target uptime and reliability of 99.99%. * Monitor, analyze, and shape LAN and Wireless network traffic. * Monitor security threats and deploy appropriate security measures in accordance with STGI&O change management process. * Develop and maintain network documentation in accordance with defined STGI&O standards within 3 business days of any approved changes. * Provide level 2 technical support for enterprise systems.
