Network Administrator III, managers, optimizes, and supports clients infrastructure. Reduces the number of incidents that occur through proactive maintenance, review and consultation. Raises technical awareness and productivity through training and recommendations.
Maintain a positive client relationship and meet technical needs through expertise and consultation. Network Administrators are positioned to learn everything about a business through routine visits and constant contact with decision makers regarding technical needs. Network Administrators are responsible for maintaining client documentation so that EDTS can benefit from their knowledge and provide the best service possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete maintenance visits for a specific set of clients.
Perform routine maintenance for clients with a managed services agreement.
Communicate with decision makers to identify business needs and technical concerns.
Evaluate client systems and business processes to identify opportunities for standardization.
Participate in service management, request fulfillment, and problem management.
Participate in client service transition to ensure smooth implementation of services.
Train clients on making effective use of services and submit requests on their behalf as needed.
Responsible for maintaining client documentation in a knowledge management system.
Assist solution architects by providing information unique to each client environment.
Collaborate with vCIO to develop a technical strategy and a technology road-map.

Must have an advance understanding of:
Server management and troubleshooting.
Storage management and troubleshooting.
Network management and troubleshooting.
Server applications such as SQL and Exchange.
Email routing and troubleshooting.
Routing, switching, and firewalls.
Virtualization and advanced infrastructure.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a technical discipline.
8+ years of general technical experience, or 4+ years of MSP technical experience.
More than one active certifications from Apple, Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, or VMWare.
