Network Administrator

Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. You Will:

• Manage the network infrastructure for a project supporting engineering and design of various levels of complexity

• Perform systems operations integration for various U.S. Navy networks

• Maintain the projects configuration management and test network configurations

• Act as projects liaison with the Enterprise Engineering and Certification (E2C) Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE) Network Services

• Create and maintain Visio diagrams of the network infrastructure and other network management related functions

• Perform distance and/or onsite support of networks, servers, and data communications paths

• Research issues using available resources and advise customer on appropriate actions

• Provide support and integration expertise for U.S. Navy network systems and associated systems

• Provide on-site technical assistance to lab personnel

• Maintain network exceptions list with CND

• Manage DISA-to-NOC connections

• Managing GRE tunnel with a remote site

You Have:

• US Citizenship

• A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim security clearance prior to hire date

• Must have and maintain eligibility for increased personnel security clearance levels and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)

• Experience in TCP/IP and common protocols such as FTP, SSH, OSPF, BGP, SNMP, and NTP

• Experience in routing and switching (Cisco preferred)

• Experience in firewall administration (Cisco preferred)

• Experience in network administration

• Experience in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency with Virtual Networking, Cisco Networking, Microsoft Networking, and Visio

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory on Server 2012 and Server 2016

• Experience with VMware

• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting

• Current CompTIA Security+ CE Certification required or must be able to obtain within six months

• Minimum 8 years experience as a Network Administrator, Technician, System Administrator, Field Engineer, or System Analyst

• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality

• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of personnel

• Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple goals and priorities

• Ability to work with teammates and technical experts in a highly collaborative environment

• Ability to handle tasks of moderate scope providing solutions that are innovative and timely

• Basic knowledge of installation and maintenance of network cabling

• Ability to perform software installations, including configuration and troubleshooting

• Ability to solve problems efficiently and quickly

• Self-starter exhibiting personal initiative to learn, teach, be flexible, and have a passion for IT

Wed Be Impressed If You Had:

• Bachelors degree preferred but will accept comparable years of experience

• Cisco CCNA is highly preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
