About the Team

The International Technology team is responsible for the architecture, engineering, implementation, support, and operations of international systems portfolio of Williams Sonoma brands like Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, West Elm, Mark & Graham & Rejuvenation in multiple channels like e-commerce, stores, franchises and wholesale.

We currently operate company-owned retail stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia and have franchise operated retail stores throughout the Middle East, Mexico, the Philippines, and South Korea. Wholesale partnerships in UK and Ireland support our UK based stores.

About the Role

You are a Subject Matter SME in NetSuite SuiteCommerce Advanced(SCA) with minimum 4 years of experience as a programmer and configurator. You have advanced JavaScript skills. You will be participating in web meetings to discuss solution design and turn technical specifications into configuration and programming code.

  • Excellent understanding of NetSuite SuiteCommerce Advance(SCA) Aconcagua release, NetSuite website setup, NetSuite website configuration, NetSuite SuiteScript Server Pages (SSP) applications, NetSuite Commerce API (2018.2 release), NetSuite Item Search API (2018.2 release), NetSuite SuiteScript API (2018.2 release), JavaScript (current version), HTML (current version), CSS (current version), Sass (current version), JSON, XML, REST, HTTPS, modern open source advanced JavaScript libraries including Ajax, Almond, Backbone, BigNumber, Bootstrap, Font-Awesome, Gulp, Handlebars, Jasmine, jQuery, Node, Prototype, Require, Respond, Trimpath, Underscore and GitHub development platform.

  • Experience with NetSuite SuiteCommerce Multi-Site desired, however not required.

  • Experience with NetSuite SuiteCloud IDE desired, however not required.

A passion for engineering practices like product quality, CI/CD and agile adoption, is a must, from day one. The Software Engineer with be responsible for development work in our Finance platforms, which includes NetSuite, Coupa, Anaplan and a suite of Cash Reconciliation tools that we maintain. The role will report to the Sr. Manager of Finance Platforms (EAA). The growing Enterprise Applications and Architecture (EAA) team is based in San Francisco with a global presence in other offices (Portland, Chicago, New York, London, Dublin and Tokyo). The successful candidate must have significant previous experience in similar roles, in rapidly growing organizations.
