Netops Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a NetOps Specialist to join a 7-year DoD program contract job opportunity supporting the Department of the Navy located in New Orleans, LA. The NetOps Specialist will assist with end-user desktop support across numerous Marine Corps installations worldwide.

MUST HAVE COMPTIA SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION AND ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Responsibilities for the NetOps Specialist include:

• Assist with Network Admin support

• Help resolve connectivity, OS, Microsoft/Office, and Video Teleconference issues

• Work directly with Marines, Government Civilians, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Meet service goals by opening and closing tickets, executing scripts, and answering calls

Required Qualifications for the NetOps Specialist include:

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance

• 2-5+ Years of Network Admin experience

• Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher (CCNA highly desired)

• Experience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and support for IT devices

Compensation for the NetOps Specialist include:

• Salary Range: $55,000-75,000 depending on experience
