Netops Specialist (Secret Clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to support a network operations program for MARFORRES (Marine Corp Reserves) intranet in New Orleans, LA. The team is seeking an individual with a dynamic skill set in network operations and end-user support for more than 400,000 hardware devices and 800,000 users in the U.S. and abroad.

Clearance: Secret clearance required

Location: New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities of the Network Operations Specialist:

• Monitor the infrastructure and network by responding appropriately to alerts and events

• Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate.

• Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services.

• Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures.

• Provide data center support where appropriate.

• Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues.

• Provide incident notification to Government representatives.

Qualifications of the Network Operations Specialist:

• Secret clearance required

• 10+ years of IT experience

• Experience monitoring, maintaining, administering, configuring, and/or troubleshooting Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)

• Troubleshooting outages, configuration upgrades, and monitoring and reporting outages on classified and unclassified networks.

• Network performance monitoring, network security monitoring

• IAT II certification required (CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, CAP, CASP+, CISM

• CCNA Security required

Compensation of the Network Operations Specialist:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $85,000 - $108,000+

• Full Benefits, PTO/Holiday, 401K Match

• Long term program - funded through 2028
