Position Title: NetBackup Administrator

Location: Cherry Point NC

Clearance Requirements: Secret

Position Status: Full Time

Pay Rate: $35-$40/Hr

Position Description:

• We are hiring a Net Backup Storage Administrator to help us set up and run a Disaster Recovery / CooP site in NC.

• They will serve as a technical expert in the instantiation, sustainment and modification of a multi-site Data Center Near line and Tape Backup services and associated firmware, hardware and applications.

• They will work with various vendors to install, upgrade, configure, administer, automate and optimize the backup service architectures and associated software, providing a secure, reliable and highly available storage platform to Data Center customers and services;

• Performs hardware, software and firmware installation and upgrade automation;

• Develops and maintains a comprehensive system event, performance and capacity monitoring plan;

• Troubleshoots problems, takes appropriate corrective action and/or interacts with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support and troubleshooting functions.

• Provides Tier II/III support for all Data Center backup related records and requests.

Backup Sys:

• HP 3PAR solution with Store Serve & Store Once using Veritas Net Backup Software

Requirements:

• NET Backup using the NetApp Application

• Experience working with DISA STIGs/SRG requirements

• Work a 100 % on site

• Have an IAT Level II certification = Sec+

• Have a DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• NetApp certification
