Einstein campuses are Tobacco and Smoke Free.In this role you will be responsible for:Assisting in the implementation of the health care plan and management of neonatal patients by performing diagnostic and therapeutic tasks as defined by the neonatologists

Responsibilities will be approved by the Medical Staff BoardThis position requires providing service to the following age populations, neonatal and infant, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:Master's Degree in Nursing and graduate of accredited program for neonatal nurse practitioner and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification required

Experience working in a level 3 NICU attending high risk deliveries required

Training and experience commensurate with the expectations of the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics required

State license for nurse practitioner required. It is required that he/she will maintain a current Certified Registered Nurse Practioner Pennsylvania state license certified by applicable certifying bodies and maintain certification in NRP.

Employment is contingent upon clinical privileges granted by the AEMC Board of Trustees and an unrestricted license to practice in PennsylvaniaPhysical Demands:Physical

Ability to read medical charts and doctors orders

Hearing Requirements:
Ability to hear normal conversations

Working Conditions: Routine activities involved in patient clinical care

VIEW JOBS 10/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-10T00:00 : All nurse practitioners / physician assistants function under the guidelines as designed by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center medical staff guidelines and are credentialed through that body. The CRNP /PA hired by the Department of Advanced Practice will be held accountable through a formal job description, through the delineation of privileges, and through their agreement with their collaborating or supervising physician who has initiated a Collaborative / Supervising Practice Agreement. All clinical work hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed under the direction of the collaborating physician/division designee, and within the Human Resource guidelines. This position has a dual reporting structure. The CRNP / PA will report to the Director of Advanced Practice who will be responsible for the administrative oversight of the position, as well as, implementation/oversight of selected hospital CEQI indicators that are chosen for each clinical department. The Human Resource issues relating to daily job performance will be the responsibility of the Director of Advanced Practice. In addition, a collaborating / supervising physician will be identified from the clinical division who will be responsible for direct oversight of the clinical role and lead orientation to the clinical unit and ongoing assessment of the clinical skills.
