Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Remote | WFH

Position: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Description You will work closely with attending neonatologists to provide expert care to high-risk newborns and their families in both emergency and non-emergency settings. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess and stabilize high-risk infants and develop comprehensive care plans.

Conducting thorough perinatal assessments and physical examinations, interpreting findings, and assisting with high-risk deliveries. Performing or ordering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for newborns under required physician supervision. Documenting all aspects of patient care meticulously according to established procedures.

Serving as a consultant on the care of chronically ill infants and assisting with family education and outreach activities. Participating in staff orientation and acting as a preceptor when needed. Minimum Qualifications Completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.

Current licensure as an advanced practice provider in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent, or certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Physician Assistants may require at least one year of direct experience in neonatology. BLS and NRP certifications are required. Preferred Qualifications Master's prepared Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with APRN licensure in Georgia.
