We have an opening for a Repair FPI Level II.
LOCAL CANDIATES ONLY - NO RELOCATION WILL BE PROVIDED
Florescent penetrant inspects product for repair and overhaul, aftermarket and PMA product. Inspects products for quality defects and complete FAA, EASA, JCAB, CAAC certification forms.
Part marks product per work order technical documents. Support the production department including, but not limited to pressure testing, cleaning, part handling and inspection.

Ability to operate basic computer functions in a Windows environment and basic knowledge of MS Office
Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and recognize when the parts do not meet the technical requirements
Ability to identify, organize, estimate and recognize differences or similarities in product
Skill in utilizing basic measuring equipment to inspect parts
Skill in basic math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and fractions
Ability to advise and communicate to product quality requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-clean parts for processing using approved cleaning methods
Process parts through a water-wash penetrant system according to written procedures
Conduct daily calibrations and system checks according to written procedures
Inspect parts to various specifications and Technical Data
Process paperwork associated with penetrant (work orders, reject tags) etc.
Post-clean using approved cleaning methods
Must be present on manufacturing shop floor
Occasionally package parts for return to customer
Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
Maintain safe working practices and insure area is clean and free of any possible dangerous situations.
Other duties as assigned.
Light to moderate physical effort required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, and move about the facility.
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Must have the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust to focus (Individual cannot be color blind).
Required qualification / Education / Experience:
Must be able to pass a Qualification Exam IAW NAS-410 & Internal Procedures
Must be certified to Level II NDT
High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
Up to 10% travel
