Intertek's Industry Services team provides technical solutions that help customers maximize operational efficiency, ensure asset reliability, improve quality, and minimize safety risks. Some of our many service areas include inspection, non-destructive and materials testing, technical training, engineering, surveying, QA/QC, and supplier auditing.

The NDE Level I Technician will support the Industry Services business by working with an RT Level II Technician at a client facility located in Blane, WA..

Duties:

  • Perform various non-destructive examinations at various client facilities under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or Level II Technician.

  • Assist in preparing NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner.

  • Assist and learn technical matters involving company NDE procedures and techniques.

  • Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers.

  • Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE that may be applicable in our business.

Required:

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Current 40 Hr Radiation Safety Certificate

  • Valid TWIC Card

  • Able to pass physical exam.

  • A mindset of safety first.

  • Ability to maintain open lines of communications with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors.

Preferred:

  • ASNT Level I certification in RT (profile); UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.

  • The ability to set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret and evaluate results to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

  • The ability to organize and report test results, and send information to the office for data processing.

  • The ability to solve technical issues in the field.

Intertek's Industry Services team provides technical solutions that help customers maximize operational efficiency, ensure asset reliability, improve quality, and minimize safety risks. Some of our many service areas include inspection, non-destructive and materials testing, technical training, engineering, surveying, QA/QC, and supplier auditing. The RT Level II Technician will support the Industry Services business by performing assigned inspection activities to ensure that an object, material, or system complies with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements. We're looking for an experienced Radiographer with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience. Additional NDT certifications and experience are a plus. Duties * Radiographic Testing Film Interpretation (RTfi): Applicable to film interpretation of radiographs, evaluation of the Radiographic Method, and overall evaluation of radiographic film to applicable codes and standards acceptance criteria. * Set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. * The NDT Level II Technician should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the Methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on the job training and guidance of assigned trainees and NDT Level I personnel. * The NDT Level II shall be able to organize and report the results of any assigned NDT. * Adopt an Intertek "Marketing and Sales" attitude in all client, vendor, employee, and outside contacts interactions. * Actively pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars. Required Qualifications: * Must be qualified and certified as an ASNT Level II in Radiographic examination with a minimum of 3-5 years field experience and hold a Washington State card.
