The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a NC Programmer to join our team. The NC Programmer will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing solutions for gas turbine components using state-of-the-art CNC equipment and software tools. The NC Programmer will also be responsible for: Create and optimize NC programs using Siemens NX for complex machining operations on multi-spindle lathes, multi-axis mills and mill-turn machines Build and maintain post processors and machine simulation models utilizing Siemens NX software Validate NC programs virtually through machine simulation Perform on-machine program validation and optimization Collaborate with design engineers to enhance part designs for manufacturability Develop comprehensive manufacturing processes including process planning, gaging strategies, tooling solutions and fixture design Support production operations and assist with capital equipment procurement Participate in equipment installation, runoff and production startup activities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Computer, Robotics, or Manufacturing Engineering; OR Associate's degree in related field with 5 years of manufacturing experience Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment developing NC programs Proficiency in 3D CAD software and demonstrated understanding of CAD principles and GD&T U. S. Citizenship is required Ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches). Capable of pushing or pulling 60 pounds. Grip strength of at least 50 pounds. Ability to reach above shoulder height (65 inches) Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
