In this role, you have the opportunity to
Driving to capture value and alliances of new business propositions from BG innovation activities/ research/ partnerships and M&A, by coordinating, planning, and directing the introduction in the International markets and by subsequently focusing on achievement of key operational and financial drivers and metrics.
The new business development (NBD) director works with the markets to ensures results are delivered and the scope is in line with the Philips strategy. By having a deep understanding of the customer, consumer, sales and specific local market needs the NBD director can support the international markets by creating a focused and structured approach of all the new business initiatives. You are the central coordination and point of reference for all new business initiatives, you will have direct responsibility to align, prioritize and ensuredecision-makingcision making of the activities of the different initiatives.
You are responsible for
Consults with markets and businesses on market needs and innovation pipeline
Interacting with BG on their new product pipeline
Cooperating with the Market Innovation Board to facilitate decision-making, install tracking mechanisms, and start execution of plans
Ensuring plans are prioritized through building dedication with senior management in both businesses as Markets in SPOR/BMC process.
Crafting New Business proposition playbook
Draft market introduction plans (including resourcing and budget) with cross-functional team from BGs and markets for selected initiatives
Create NPI timeline incl. key milestones, resource plan and risk mitigation and evaluates NPI deliverables from BG
Facilitate kick-off and planning workshops delivering short-term plans and long-term charters.
Drive synergy planning and execution
Track and share methodologies and lessons learned
Monitor progress through periodic check-ins, intensify involvement when needed
You are a part of
You will enter a team of passionate and driven professionals in the Philips Healthcare Market International Market/ Benelux organization and you will report to the Head of SNBD International Markets.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
International Sales experience
Inspiring leadership skills: inspiring commitment through communication and social skills

Diplomatic and influencing skills in cross-cultural context; sensitive to (organizational) cultural differences.
Have a deep understanding of technology roadmaps in both research and businesses.
Have a deep understanding of the sales process
Strong cross-functional consultative skills
Solid Philips business knowledge.
Strong Philips process expertise.
NPI experience is considered an asset
Having the ability to keep a helicopter view as well as a detailed understanding of the different functional and business (or work stream) issues
