  • CSRA is seeking a Business Development Lead with deep, intimate knowledge of the US Navy and DoD major system acquisition programs (non-IT) with a particular emphasis on Navy SYSCOMs (NAVSEA, NAVAIR), PEOs (Ships, Submarines, IWS, C4I, U&W), and/or field activities (NSWC, NUWC, NAWC).

We seek an individual with expertise in all phases of business development, one with a verifiable record of successfully finding, positioning, and winning work. An in-depth knowledge of the target Navy acquisition (non-IT), systems engineering, lifecycle planning, logistics, maintenance and fleet support markets are essential as it the ability to work within an established capture process. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Navy Growth Lead based in Washington, DC, you will be responsible for developing and managing the relationship between CSRA and customers by cultivating relationships with key individuals at target customer organizations. You will identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts and identify opportunities for business expansion that further business development activity. The successful candidate will work with marketing, sales, operations, and technology groups to implement business development strategy for specific initiatives in the target areas.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 13 - 15 years' experience in Navy/DoD Business Development or federal employee/military experience in Navy/DoD acquisition programs required.

  • 5 years successfully identifying & winning Navy contracts.

  • BS/BA and U.S. citizenship required.

  • The ability to secure and hold a government secret clearance required.

  • Some travel will be required.

  • No relocation will be offered for this assignment.
