PART-TIME LECTURERS POOL IN GEOLOGY: The Department of Physics and Geology invites applications for multiple, on-going, part-time appointment(s) at the rank of Lecturer.

Our part-time lecturers teach anywhere from one to three courses a semester. The person(s) appointed to this position will teach in the areas of Physical Geology, General Earth Sciences, Geochemistry, Geophysics, Environmental Geology, or Hydrogeology. These positions are contingent upon the availability of authorized funding.


M.S. in Geology, with specialty in one of the areas mentioned above.


Ph.D. in Geology. A potential candidate's consideration will be enhanced by providing evidence of successful teaching of similar coursework at the college level. Experience teaching at 6-12 level would be highly desirable for the General Earth Sciences courses.
