General Duties: Maplewood is a regional leader in protecting open spaces, preserving waterways and expanding the plaiting and use of native species.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and collaborative person to help lead those efforts as a Natural Resources Coordinator. Under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Department, and in coordination with the City's Environmental Planner, you'll develop and implement programs and policies that ensure Maplewood's long-term environment and natural resources health. Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in landscape ecology, botany or a related field with an emphasis on native habitat restoration.* Four years of land management or natural resources experience.* Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota driver's license or equivalent out-of-state license.Apply:Online applications will be accepted until 4:30pm on October 14, 2020. VIEW JOBS 10/26/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-24T00:00 OVERVIEW Candidate will analyze customer products in regards to toxicology and human health effects and product compliance, update and create new chemical records based on raw material data, and make recommendations for environmental health and safety in this entry-level scientific, non-laboratory position.
