Responsibilities
Directly responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and balancing natural gas volumes related to EnLink's on-system and off-system purchases, sales, and transportation activities. Directly responsible for the daily verification and monitoring of the physical balances on all assigned systems and ensuring that the correct individuals are notified so action to minimize exposure is undertaken.
Develop an extensive working knowledge of Company owned assets to understand opportunities and market inefficiencies.
Coordinate all new and existing market and supply data for proper set up with regional representatives and operational gas control.
Ensure full and timely compliance with all daily and monthly gas nomination procedures, including compliance with the current NAESB standard for multi cycle nominations when appropriate.
Utilize the appropriate internal system and/or third-party EBB to submit and track nominations.
Monitor daily receipts and deliveries for imbalance positions. Provide recommendations to eliminate the imbalance positions and minimize the forward exposure.
Work closely with Trading representatives to monitor and enhance profitability on all pipeline assets being mindful of financial implications.
Enter all information associated with transactions into the data management system (currently TIES), daily balance the systems, and manage the information from initial entry to end of month accrual.
Maintain close communication and working relationship with other departments including accounting, and contracts to ensure reporting accuracy.
After hours and weekend on-call coverage is required.
Qualifications
College Degree required - business related preferred.
Minimum of 2 years prior scheduling experience.
Personal Management Skills: Demonstrate self-confidence, personal discipline, initiative, innovation, perseverance, integrity and interpersonal flexibility. Must also demonstrate a proven track record of successful execution, and an ability to meet deadlines while maintaining an accurate work product.
Multi-Task Oriented: The ability to "change gears" quickly, analyze and assess the situation and prioritize tasks accordingly. Possess strong project management and client skills.
Thorough knowledge of the natural gas pipeline grid is preferred.
Understand volume imbalances, OBA's, transport statements, pipeline tariffs, and EBB applications.
Understanding of operational issues associated with gathering systems as well as intrastate and interstates pipeline systems that are integrated with the pipeline grid.
Understanding of pipeline operations including pressures, flow rates and capacity issues.
Ability to communicate and cooperate with field personnel on operational issues.
Experience with deal transaction systems and related gas pathing methods.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated skill in the use of productivity software such as Excel.
