Due to growth, we are adding this National Specialty Account Executive to our Trade Relations department.

We are unable to offer remote work to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

The National Specialty Account Executive will manage and assist the entire scope of the clinic relationship process for new Lumicera Health Services business.

This position will execute market strategies for generating, maintaining and improving clinic relationships to result in increased script volume. The National Specialty Account Executive is responsible for the Client Services Coordinator and will manage and oversee completion and assignments of their respective daily tasks while supporting large scale specialty initiatives to maximize revenue. Key contacts will include prospective clinics, manufacture partners, and internal client relationships. The National Specialty Account Executive must be an individual contributor as well as lead and participate in multi-functional team efforts; must understand and effectively communicate all portions of the business to all internal and external stakeholders.

Managing day-to-day interactions and understanding interdependencies is central to success in this position. The role requires a deep knowledge of both the technical sales and marketing sides of the business.

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Work with the Director to develop and execute market strategies for the designated market segment.

  • Collaborates with internal partners to execute on the Lumicera Health Services business plan, including achieving desired adoption rate from strategic accounts.

  • Collaborate with account's staff to enhance exception rates and proactively address any potential obstacles or barriers.

  • Assist with implementation and onboarding of new strategic accounts.

  • Provide business reviews to strategically important accounts during mutually agreed upon intervals.

  • Assist with contract re-negotiations, amendments, or changes for assigned clients.

  • Presentation, Development and Delivery of Lumicera Business Model, Value Proposition and claims analysis tools/results to: prospects, internal training groups, conferences, business/charitable events, speaking engagements, and presentations.

  • Negotiation, Identification of prospect/new clinics, management of discovery and solution development process, and oversight of RFP deliverables

  • Report Clinic Activities to Director, New Business with respect to:

  • Pipeline and plan

  • Status updates

  • Prospective clinic strategies

  • Assessment of current relationships

  • May require travel to client sites or onsite meetings up to 20% of time.

What our team expects from you?

  • Pharm D or bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with active registered pharmacist license. Specialty Pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.

  • 5 or more years of clinical experience, client facing account management and sales experience is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of medical claims billing process is preferred.

  • Experience and expertise in new product development and a track record of tangible success, including leadership and team collaboration/relationship-building/management is essential.

  • Must be able to exercise appropriate judgment as necessary.

  • Position requires a high level of initiative, creativity and decision making.

  • Additionally, must be able to effectively prepare and manage meetings and presentations both personally and technically.

  • Technology expertise must include Excel, Word and PowerPoint at a minimum. Experience with CRM package (Siebel, Act, Oracle, Salesforce.com) is desirable.

  • Managed healthcare benefit background with exposure to Specialty Pharmacy is highly desirable. Direct Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience in health care sales, account strategies, meeting facilitation, and presentation development are essential.

  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives

  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
