Our client is looking for a motivated and dedicated Sales Representative with experience in the medical cannabis industry to join our team. This position focuses on direct-to-patient engagement via phone, where your main responsibility will be scheduling medical cannabis appointments for prospective patients. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about medical cannabis as a treatment option, have a proven track record in cannabis-related sales, and be comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient outreach and engagement: Initiate contact with prospective patients, offering information about medical cannabis treatment options and procedures, while booking them for consultations with certified healthcare professionals.
  • Appointment scheduling: Follow up with leads, establish rapport with patients, and set appointments to ensure a smooth and seamless patient experience.
  • Patient education and advocacy: Act as an advocate for patients by providing detailed information about the benefits of medical cannabis, addressing any concerns or questions, and guiding them through the process.
  • Meet sales targets: Consistently achieve and exceed appointment booking and conversion goals, contributing to overall company success and growth.
  • Adapt to industry changes: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, patient needs, and regulatory updates in the medical cannabis sector.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of B2C sales experience, preferably in the medical cannabis industry or a related field, with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of medical cannabis benefits, patient care procedures, and state-specific regulations.
  • Patient-centered approach: A passion for medical cannabis as a treatment option and a strong commitment to supporting patients on their wellness journey.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional communication, active listening, and empathy skills to establish trust and build relationships with prospective patients.
  • Highly organized and proactive: Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple leads and appointments efficiently, along with a strong follow-through.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, appointment scheduling software, and other digital tools to track patient interactions and appointments.

Compensation: $50,000 base salary plus commission and benefits
